Axelrod paved the way for Obama

About the Illinois Blogger's Community
Web Site News - Announcing the Illinois Blogger Community
While at Ogmeet, Leslie of Leslie's Omnibus suggested to Bruce that he set up a community page for local bloggers similar to our Cat Lovers Page. I admit I have reservations about the idea: being owned by a cat is something to brag about, while Illinois has had a boatload of troubles in recent years. Nonetheless, I live here, so that makes it important.
If you want to participate, send an EMAIL to Bruce including your blog name and URL. Then put the following code somewhere on your main page to display the Illinois Blogger Blog Roll:
<p>Illinois Blogger Community</p>
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"
src="http://rpc.blogrolling.com/display.php?r=2132098f3804324d5c3ddd62493d2e04">
</script>
(Feel free to change the heading if you wish.)
Finally, when you post an article of special interest to Illinois or the Chicagoland area, send a trackback to this URI, which will cause a link to the article and an excerpt to appear on this page.
So, if you're from Illinois, join the fun, and if you're not from Illinois, when you talk to your Illinois friends, tell them about the Illinois Blogger Community. This will get a much more positive response than asking how the Cubs are doing.
Respectfully Submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
