When somebody tells you you're the only one who understands them, make sure you still have your wallet and then run away as fast as you can. They're not paying you a compliment: they're bragging about themselves.

Boy if that isn't the truth. I've seen that happen in relationships where someone wound up with someone they didn't want. :-(

I feel it's just another complication humans run into because they get into relationships that last more than three minutes.

There are, however, some obvious danger signs that women in particular can watch for, such as:


You're the fourth only-person for this particular guy.
You're 20 years younger than his wife, and he's been married 30 years or more.
You spend more than an hour talking about his feelings.
You spend less than an hour talking about his feelings.
