Ashlee has just come out with her new CD Autobiography, and is hitting the spotlight just like her sister did in 2000. Even though Ashlee is more of a rocker than her sister, Jessica also seems to get some of the fame. In one of Ashlee's new songs, "Shadow", Jessica makes a cameo entrance and adds style to the song. But the real shocker is about to be unveiled. Unfortunately, just like sexy predecessor Britney Spears, Ashlee has decided to enter the wonderful world of lip-synching. On November 1st, during her concert on Saturday Night Live, Ashlee started 'singing' her song "Pieces of Me", but instead did a weird dance off stage and looked confused. According to drummer Chris Fox, the band had rehearsed so that they played "Autobiography" first, than "Pieces of Me", but decided to reverse the order at the last minute. "I am in charge of starting the song and cueing their backing tracks, (which are) miscellaneoous percussion, random sound effects, etc. Plain and simple, I cued the wrong song." Ashlee's alibi: her voice was sore so she needed a vocal track along with her. Honest mistake, or bad cover-up? We'll let Miss Sipmson and the media decide.
