Notes from Ferdy - A Historic Day in Iraq
It's a very trying day for me. Bruce is bouncing all over the house saying things like "It worked! It worked!" and talking about how it's like the Berlin Wall has fallen all over again.
I love the man, but he's a total fruit loop. Anyway, I am maintaining my dispassionate calm, and it occurs to me that we should ask the following question:
Do you think the Iraqi people would be celebrating today if Kerry had won the 2004 election?
Me neither.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

I'm wondering if that's the middle finger in your picture?

Clearly you have little consideration for the strength of the people who voted. This site is intended to be humorous? It might raise a few boyish giggles amongst the HJ.

I have a great deal of admiration for the people who voted. I think this has been a wonderful thing, and a vindication for Bush's foreign policy. I also think, however, that Kerry would have postponed the elections, because he said in the run up to November that he thought Bush was being naive.
And I think it's an index finger when being shown to the coalition and Iraqi forces, and a middle finger when being shown to insurgents. The context is important.
