Undo the Damage! - Iraqi Election Results

by Tallulah Interloper

Hi! I'm Tallulah! I live with Ferdy and Bruce. I'm pretty sure Ferdy was being sarcastic when he wrote Important Notice To Anti-War Activists, but I think he had a really good idea, so I asked if I could take over the campaign.

So far, it appears that the election is a success, thanks to a 72% voter turnout. However, all is not lost!

Thankfully, former Democratic candidate and war hero John Kerry has begun laying the groundwork for discrediting the election. As we learned in 2004, if you want to discredit an election, you need to do it AFTER the polls close. That's what Al Gore did in 2000, and people still believe Bush stole the election. In 2004, however, the anti-election hype started early, and it's been much harder to get people worked up about the results.

We must make people think this election doesn't count! If it looks like the Iraqis are ruling themselves, the coalition forces will start to be treated as liberators, and the chance of restoring a murderous, anti-American regime to Iraq will become almost impossible, which means it will be very hard to UNDO THE DAMAGE!

The Iraqi people need lawyers! We need lawyers to demand recounts, to challenge the credibility of the ballots, and to accuse the coalition forces of tampering with the results. Remember, democracy is dangerous! The best vote is no vote at all!

It's too late to prevent the war, but it's never too late to UNDO THE DAMAGE!
