Catblogging - Crochet

by Ferdinand T Cat

KnittingThe girl who feeds me likes to crochet. According to Bruce, crocheting is the same as knitting except that it's harder to stab yourself and end up having to go to the hospital.

Anyway, whether one is crocheting or knitting, the result is the same: the house is peppered with these blankety things for cats to sit on. Not only are they well-ventilated and comfortable, but each blankety thing is attached to a ball of yarn you can play with when you're done sleeping.

Sometimes it amazes me that people think modern civilization wasn't designed expressly for the benefit of cats.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

Man domesticated the dog. The cat in turn domesticated Man.

Our cat has spent the last hour circling my chair howling while I tried to work on my laptop. He has food. He has water. He has a cat door to escape to the outside. I call him, he ignores me. I reach down to pet him, he ignores me. I pick him, he whines at me. I hold him and pet him, he protests. I put him down, he circles and howls. Finally, I figured it out: the front door. You see, the cat-door is in back. He wants to go out the front. I exist to serve him.
