Carnivals - Fun With Pings

As many of you know, we have a ping address here (http://www.conservativecat.com/mt/mt-tb.cgi/416) which carnival hosts can use to have the carnival post appear in our recent carnivals list. The list can be seen in the right-hand column of our front page link festival and in the lower right frame panel of the Carnival Submit Form.

Trackbacks are also used by spammers, and every morning Bruce has to pull up the list of recent trackbacks so he can delete the spams. This morning it was a pretty funny read.

While I'm on the subject, I have to tell you that this whole nudity thing is beyond strange. Half the time the name is some obvious alias we've never even heard of (e.g. Sylvia Saint), and other times they're just plain weird. Who would want to see Alicia Silverstone naked? She plays TEENAGE GIRLS. And who hasn't seen Natasha Henstridge topless? Doesn't she do that in every single one of her movies? And what the hell is the point of "pregnant grandmothers"?

Sometimes I feel like spammers live on a completely different planet than I do.
