Notes from Ferdy - Papal Election Marred by Peppermint Shortage
Somebody forgot to put peppermints on the grocery list, so Bruce was sick this morning.
It's things like this that underline the essential strangeness of my pet's metabolism. I can understand relying on a rare South American jungle herb for pain management, but lying on the floor moaning piteously because you've run out of Peppermint Lifesavers® is ridiculous.
Anyway, the reason this is important is that we have a new pope. And because Bruce was too sick to type, I couldn't write an article about it, and by now I'm sure every other humor blog has already done the obvious Cardinals Miss Historic Opportunity By Electing a Christian Pope joke.
I hope we've all learned something from this: an inaccurate grocery list is no trivial thing.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

In Czech republic there is elixir named "Benedictinka." Many centuries ago started "Brothers
Beneditins" make this from many secret ingredients.
Try to call Benedict XVI. Maybe after you will not need peppermint.
