Catblogging - Playing

by Ferdinand T Cat

Here we have a picture of me performing a leaping side-strike in order to subdue a possibly very dangerous gummi worm. One of the other cats could eat this thing and get sick, so it's my job to take it out of circulation. In order to keep my hunting skills sharp, I like to practice some of my moves on food before I eat it. This works great for gummi worms, but is less useful on canned tuna.

Personally, I have never understood the tuna thing. If nature is the result of this beautiful, delicate plan, why the heck did they put the best cat food in the water, and then design a cat's skin so that water makes it hurt?

Things would be a lot different if I had been in charge.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

What is your take on those rolling weaselballs?

Of course, I spend hours tormenting my cats with laser pointers. Even more fun, is using the laser pointer to get a cat to suddenly pounce on another person.

The weaselball is a very inefficient way to package food. It needs a handle or something you can use to open it when you've caught the thing.

Laser pointers are actually a lot of fun, except sometimes I forget myself and try to jump through the wall, which is not good for my image as a superior life form.
