Adventures with Bruce - The Thing With Monitors

by Ferdinand T Cat

Given that I am a superior life form, I feel it is my responsibility to protect my pet's reputation. I would like to put a stop to some very misleading rumors that I believe are being spread by Bruce's former co-workers.

It is an exaggeration to say that Bruce "blew up" two CRTs. The first one was blown out as a result of a lightning strike, which is technically an act of God. It was Bruce's third act of God, actually, and all kidding aside, I'm sure everybody else appreciated the fact that there was an experienced lightning survivor in the building at the time.

As for the other incident, the monitor was only spewing smoke. I'm sure if actual flames had been visible, Bruce would have known what was going on before the V.P. came running in with the fire extinguisher.

I hope that in light of this new information, you will be able to put all these rumors into the proper perspective.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

It's great to hear that Bruce can attract "Acts of God" but I think he should work on attracting the constructive kind rather than the destructive kind. Maybe you can help him Ferdinand. Having 9 lives is about the closest anyone can get to manipulating the old lifeline. I trust you have never been hit by lightning before? =;^)

Your patience with Bruce knows no boundaries.

Everything's a trade-off. I keep thinking of what it would cost to train a new pet.
