CSI Schaumburg - Excerpt from Episode 12, "Cold Comfort"

by Ferdinand T Cat
This is the first in what we hope will be a series of script excerpts from the Dimwit Zone's highest-rated TV show-- CSI Schaumburg-- which follows the intrepid cops of the Schaumburg, Illinois forensic laboratory as they use the powers of modern science to solve crime in this sleepy Chicago suburb.

ALEX (entering the morgue holding a clipboard): Well, Wendy, what's the story on this victim?

WENDY (pointing to the open body on the table): I've never seen anything like this before. His brain has apparently been dead for weeks, but his heart is still beating.

ALEX: Close him up, then. Nobody around here cares that somebody tried to kill a Democrat.

I live in WILL county-so we still have a few Republicans around here(but you have "Woodfield.")

Even though we're blue on the county map, the township is solidly red. This is Henry Hyde's territory, after all. In fact, many years ago the local Democrat organization endorsed the re-election of Village President Al Larsen in order to hurt his chances. He was quite upset about it at the time.
