Carnivals - More Carnivals
The Carnival Submit Form has been updated. The text for the Christian Carnival has been clarified. In addition, six new carnivals have been added.
- Tar Heel Tavern is for North Carolina blogs.
- Skeptic's Circle is for articles that apply critical thinking to questionable stories.
- Friday Ark is the familiar festival of animal photos. Steve is now accepting submissions via EMAIL, so the form can support it.
- Carnival of Education seeks education-related posts.
- The History Carnival solicits scholarly articles about historical events.
- Carnivalesque is a bi-monthly showcase of articles about the early modern period of history, from 1450 to 1850.
UPDATE: The Blawg Review carnival does not want people submitting articles through this web site. They assure me that the service I provide is valuable, it's just "not right for Blawg Review or our participants". Bruce has dutifully removed them from the form and from the list above. Hopefully, none of the common riff-raff were able to submit articles in the brief time the capability was available.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

What kind of anti-Feline insanity is that?
"We prefer our participants to submit their articles by smoke-signals at the crack of the full moon each month. We don't need no stinkin' felines with their easy-to-fill submission forms!"

Hi,
I've received a few submissions for the Skeptics' Circle from this site that were more than a little politically charged. I'd like to take this opportunity to say the Circle is meant to be apolitical and should place more value on the scientific method of inquiry along with the value of proof over speculation instead of right- or left-sided causes.

Sorry about that, St. N. I have added information to that effect to the submit form.
