That is an excellent plan. Do you think Bruce will share you with me? I've got a phone and a comfy chair you can sit in. There's also the occasional lizard that gets in the house. You can chase them. :)

Well, there are certain areas where I'm a lot better than he is. Actually, there are a WHOLE BUNCH of areas where I'm a lot better than he is. In the case of telemarketing response, assertiveness is required. Bruce is so non-assertive that the last time he was fired he ended up trying to console his supervisor over the emotional trauma resulting from having to stab a close friend in the back.

Regarding Jen's kind offer: I'm sure Bruce has no problem sharing me with you, but I'M a bit concerned about leaving him on his own, even for a short duration.
