Adventures with Bruce - The Speedometer Story
For as long as I can remember, Bruce has been worried about the speedometer on his car. Though the local car repair place can't find anything wrong with it, whenever he gets onto an interstate highway, something goes haywire and instead of reading 55 it says 70. Bruce is convinced that the speedometer is wrong because the interstate speed limit around here is 55, and he's going the same speed as everybody else.
Anyway, in the past few days he's been spending a lot of time in the car going to and from the lab where he works, and on two separate occasions the speedometer repaired itself. Bruce says that both times there was a police car nearby. So today he's going to take his car in to the garage and ask them if it's possible that police radio frequencies can affect a speedometer.
He's pretty excited about this discovery. I hope they let him down easy.
Respectfully submitted,

Hey! My speedometer has the same affliction. If you find a mechanic that can locate the source of the problem, let me know...
