The Girl Who Feeds Me - A Very Special Day

by Ferdinand T Cat

Yesterday, June 1, 2005, the girl who feeds me officially graduated from Margaret Mead Junior High School. This is a day of very mixed emotions for me. On the one hand, I'm very proud of her for graduating near the top of her class. On the other hand, she's one step closer to leaving for college, so now I only have four years to train Bruce in how to take care of me.

Pictures from the event are below the fold.

Here you can see the girl who feeds me among some other graduates who are not nearly as important.

Here she is getting her diploma.

Here she is walking away with her diploma.

At times like this there are so many fond memories. I remember when I first met her. She had a bowl full of Deli-Cat fish flavor. But there's more than that: the first time she gave me canned food, our first trip to the vet together, that magic moment when she gave me my very first mozzarella cheese snack. Boy, that stuff is wonderful. If people didn't exist, I'd have to invent them just so there'd be cheese.

Anyway, congratulations to The Girl. I always knew she was smart: after all, she likes me.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
