The Girl Who Feeds Me - Spring Cleaning

by Ferdinand T Cat

Bruce reads a lot of fiction, as does the girl who feeds me. As the books get read, they are put into boxes that get stacked in the basement. This means that the two of them spend a lot of time down there hunting for one book or another. Periodically, the Girl decides things need to be better organized. This results in scenes like the photo below.

Two words: Amazon Marketplace.

Just a follow-up, the Marketplace idea was for the books, not for Bruce...

I love The Girl dearly, but messing around while she's doing her organizing thing is a good way to get a shoe thrown at your head. I still have nightmares from the time she organized all the DVDs.

We have considered selling Bruce on eBay, but selling the books is a better idea. I have little faith, however, that I would be able to convince Bruce or The Girl to part with even one of them. They are nutty about their books.

Wow, I thought I was the only one with a book problem. I used to sell my books on Amazon and now on Half.com, but there are some books that might as well be on a "doomed" list, because no one wants to TOUCH them.

Would you send her over to organize mine? What a wonderful thing that your Girl reads.
