Notes from Ferdy - Reflections on Spam, #6

by Ferdinand T Cat

Bruce used to sell collectible dice over the Internet, and the Internet being a global phenomenon, he had customers in Germany, Malaysia, Japan, and Russia. Those days are long gone, but he is still on a Russian spam email list. The Russian spam is actually less offensive than the English stuff, because neither of us can understand it.

The practice took a surreal turn today when Bruce received a Russian EMAIL with a VBScript virus in it.

Of course, the virus couldn't deploy, because it's in Russian.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
