Laura Ingraham - Chemotherapy Round 3 of 4
Laura Ingraham reports from her web site that she is doing well after the third round of chemotherapy, and she was in fact behind the microphone again today.
Laura is being treated with a dose-dense chemotherapy-- one dose every two weeks instead of one every three weeks. The point of the dose-dense regimen is that the body doesn't get a chance to recover from the previous treatments. Frankly, I'm surprised she can walk, much less continue to do her show. I suppose that this is an advantage of doing daily workouts. Humans require daily workouts because you don't kill your own food. Cats have been trying to fix that problem for a long time. On numerous occasions I've brought a live rabbit or squirrel into the house so one of the humans I live with could kill it, but the universally negative response I got has cured me of the practice.
Anyway, there will be one more treatment on August 5, after which she will need to take some time off to recover. As always prayers are a good idea: even though the treatment is almost over, it will be a while before we can be sure it worked.
Respectfully submitted,
