Catblogging - Some Days It Doesn't Pay to Wake Up

by Ferdinand T Cat

Ferdy too tired to moveI admit it. I've lost all my zing. I'm depressed. It's the Karl Rove thing.

I can't deny that this guy is one of my heroes. You would not believe the awe Rove generates in political operators all across the spectrum. Karl is more than just the most powerful man in human history. He contrived the war against Iraq in order to create an environment favorable to Republicans in the 2002 election. He has even managed the nearly-impossible task of making George W. Bush look like Presidential material.

For a guy like that to get caught trying to discredit a liar... Well, it's just totally sapped my will to do anything. For days I've been lying around in the chair unable to summon the will to open my eyes, much less compose a witty blog post.

I'm sorry. I know I'm letting everybody down, but I'm just too depressed.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

He is caught up in this, but it's looking more and more like he did nothing wrong. They just can't make this stick.

Wilson and Plame are dog people, Ferd. Rove took a risk and it's worth it, whatever happens. Cheer up. Get a bowl of catnip going and kick back in front of the air conditioner.
