Web Site News - Comment Spam Weirdness

We got a comment today that looks like standard comment spam but still managed to slip through our spam filter. The text of the comment is below.

i come from <A Href="http://www.google.com">best search engine</A> http://www.google.com

The ostensible purpose of comment spam is to increase Google rankings. So why would Google itself be trying it?

There are some things even a superior life form can't explain.
