Laura Ingraham - New Bush Speaking Style
Today on her show Laura Ingraham played some clips from a speech by President Bush on the economy. Although the content of the speech echoed points made by Laura earlier in the week-- the economy is growing and the deficit is shrinking-- Laura was clearly upset by the tone of the speech, which was lackluster and dull.
The obvious conclusion is that Bush is tired because he's working through his vacation; however, I believe there is a simpler explanation: Karl Rove is spending too much of his time defending himself from the continuing Plamegate scandal attacks.
Here's my reasoning. Since Karl Rove is Bush's brain, Bush is now brainless. As a result, he's starting to talk like John Kerry.
