Catblogging - A Tap Upside the Head

by Ferdinand T Cat

Ferdy Playing with the GremlinI love to pat the Gremlin on the head because she has such soft hair and it feels nice. Unfortunately, due to the height difference, I can only do it on rare occasions. She must like it, though, because she's always leaning in close to let me do it.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

No, I have a full tail. My coat pattern (gray tabby with brown highlights) is, however, very common. I suspect it's because it's so pleasing to the eyes that people want it bred into future generations, but of course I have no absolute proof.

I have read that that coloration is the original pattern for felix domesticus- so you're looking back a good ways in time when you see a cat with this coloration.
