Carnivals - Ladies' Night, Cockroaches, and Feminists
Three new carnivals have been added to the Carnival Submit Form.
Ladies' Night at Conservathink is a place where female bloggers can submit all of their juiciest gossip, whether heard through the grapevine, or the fruit of a satirical mind. Gossip should be about a public figure, preferably a political one. Conservathink is a conservative blog, but submissions will not be filtered by ideology, though submissions of a visually inappropriate nature will not be posted. Submissions are due every Thursday, 11pm ET, and guidelines can be found here.
The Carnival of Feminists seeks feminist posts. How to define feminist? That is up to you. (Though not being like me would be a good start.) If you think your post is feminist, then send it in. A feminist post doesn't have to directly address what is commonly defined as politics, but there should be some sense that the post is addressing and promoting women's place in the world. Posts should also be more than a collection of links, and include original content. Submissions are due every 1st and 3rd Wednesday, and guidelines can be found here.
The Carnival of the Cockroaches is dedicated to the principle that everybody loves cockroaches! (I'm sorry. I can't shake this feeling that Elisson is playing a joke on me.) Anyway, submit a post containing a story about cockroaches, a picture of one or more cockroaches, or something that bears a resemblance to a cockroach. Submissions are due every Thursday, 9 pm ET, and guidelines can be found here. (I'm going to be so ticked off if he's playing a trick on me.)
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

Talk to the carnival organizer. Most carnivals have an information page linked on the Carnival Submit Form, and that page will tell you how to ask to be a host.
