Catblogging - The Fluffiness Syndrome
I thought it might be fun to post a picture of The Other Cat. The Other Cat is fourteen years old and in very poor health; nonetheless, she remains pretty active. Bruce's theory is that the only thing keeping her alive is love of the Girl Who Feeds Me, and the cat doctor says that makes about as much sense as any attempt at a medical explanation.
In this picture, you'll notice she seems unusually fluffy. Bruce claims that this is not normal; however, it's the only way I've ever seen her. Unlike the Interloper, who transforms into an evil killer demon at a moment's notice, the Other Cat is all hiss and no bite. I get the feeling it would be too much trouble to actually condescend to chase me or unsheath the claws. Instead, I get the spooky sort of glare you see here.
Human beings I'm pretty good at figuring out, but female cats will always be a complete mystery to me.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
