Web Site News - Two Disasters in One Day

by Ferdinand T Cat

You may have noticed that a lot of blogs are slow or have large empty spaces. This is due to some sort of database problem at Blogrolling, the premiere service for managing blog links. Here at Conservative Cat we have no fewer than eight active blog rolls-- Funny Folk, Illinois Blogs, On the Right, Pro-Life Blogs, Homespun Bloggers, the Alliance of Free Blogs, Ping Posters, and Other Stuff. All of them occur in the green area at the bottom of the front page so that when Blogrolling is having problems, they don't interfere with the front page content. Nonetheless, we use the blog rolls for a lot of our daily activities and research, so it hurts to have them flickering in and out of existence. I can only imagine what this is doing to the link counter at the TTLB Ecosystem.

But there is even worse news: the Carnival of Cockroaches is real, and its first edition is live. DO NOT view the pictures if you're on a diet. I did, and they made me really hungry.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

Yes, blogrolling has been screwing up my blog. And the ecosystem screws up all the time too.
