Notes from Ferdy - White Sox in the World Series
Bruce is really excited that the White Sox won the American League Championship. He was bouncing off the walls for quite some time after that final out.
Today, Bruce relayed this historic news to three of his children, and got the same response.
Who cares? We're Cubs fans.
This reaction was completely mysterious to him, but to my superior mind it was child's play to figure out: after 40 years of being a baseball fan in Chicago, you're bound to be a little more open-minded about what gets you excited.
