The Girl Who Feeds Me - A Dangerous Trend in Computing

by Ferdinand T Cat

Click to see full imageThe computer in the picture belongs to the Girl Who Feeds Me. I understand why the Other Cat is sitting there, because the computer smells like the Girl, and the Other Cat and the Girl are thick as thieves. What bothers me is the look on her face, like she's planning something.

This is as good a time as any to warn all of you who communicate over the Internet that it is not safe to make assumptions about the person on the other side of the conversation. If you think you are instant messaging with a teenage girl, but she asks to meet you somewhere private so you can give her a dozen cans of tuna fish, it could be the Other Cat pulling a con.

She may be old, she may be half-blind, and she may move with the speed and grace of a wounded hippo, but she's still a cat.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
