Catblogging - After the Party
Here I am sitting in the family room the day after the Thanksgiving festivities. Bruce is trying to get Peg-Eye Nate's laptop to work correctly while Nate himself is cleaning up the mess. When Nate left for college, I wondered how the housework would get done in his absence. The answer is now clear: he comes back to visit at least once a month.
My only fear is that while he's at college some career-minded young woman is going to notice there is this nice youg man wandering around in the Computer Science department who cooks and cleans and loves children. Then Nate will be taking care of somebody else's house and I'm going to have to choose between having Bruce help me with my blog or keep the house clean.
Even a superior life form has to make a hard choice every now and then.
