Catblogging - Do the Job, No Matter What the Cost
Okay, here's the situation. I'm supposed to be in charge of killing the vermin. I take my job very seriously because, after all, I believe in the American work ethic, and quite frankly the Other Cat couldn't catch a fly unless it were blind drunk and crippled.
So far, in my epic battle against this stupid bug, I've tipped over a lamp, knocked a picture askew, and broken a slat on the mini-blinds, and I'm asking myself if maybe I should just let the idiot thing starve to death. The thing is, I don't really want Bruce's wife to come in here and see all the damage without having a dead bug to show for it.
Sometimes life can be really complicated.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

Hi Ferdinand, You are one very determind hunter. Please get that bug.. at all costs.. from one who is owned by another fearless cat.

Ferdinand,
We find that in this situation we would let it be. Then when confronted with the mess, put on the cute "who me?" face and blame the dog.
Sincerely,
The Crew

I agree with the Crew.
Although blaming it on The Interloper might work.
