Catblogging - A Fitting Place to Rest

by Ferdinand T Cat

Ferdy sleeping on a suitcase
Sometimes being a superior life form can be a heavy burden. Here's an example: Bruce had left a backpack on the floor, and since it was black canvas, I decided it would be a warm and comfortable place to sleep. Unfortunately, when I got up here, I realized it was too small. Of course, I couldn't switch, because superior life forms simply do not make significant mistakes in judgement. So here you can see me trying to curl up as tightly as I can so that my back isn't hanging over the edge. The result is extremely uncomfortable, but part of being civilized is that you're willing to endure some discomfort at the present time in pursuit of a larger long-term benefit. I'm not going to get much sleep up here, but I console myself with the fact that I'm still going to be able to speak with authority the next time Bruce asks me for advice.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

Makes perfect sense to me, Ferdi.
Just yesterday I saw Rafe trying to squeeze his size 10 butt into a size 7 shoe box.

And graceful Willow, all 18 or so pounds of her royal self, tries to crowd into a sleep bowl made for a 5 pound kitten. Legs, tails, heads, everything hangs out.
