Carnivals - Deutsch-American Friendship, Frugality, Bicycling
We have three new carnivals on the submit form.
The Tour de Cycling Carnival is a carnival for bikebloggers, that is, people who blog about bicycling. Submissions are due every 3am ET the 1st day of each month, and you can submit up to two entries. Guidelines can be found here.
I mentioned the Carnival Of German-American Relations in an earlier post. It is now available on the Carnival Submit Form. It seeks opinion and original reporting about the ups-and-downs relationship between Germany and America. Submissions should be in English but if in another language, a paragraph or two in english should accompany the post. Submissions are not limited to Germans or Americans, anyone may join. Submissions are due every Dec, March, June, Sept on the 9th, and guidelines can be found here.
Finally, the Festival of Frugality wishes to highlight posts that focus on squeezing a couple more cents out of every dollar you spend, whether it's tips on finding the best deals on a purchase or making something last longer than usual. It's up to you!. Submissions are due every Monday, 9pm , and guidelines can be found here.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

Thank you for promoting the Carnival of German-American Relations. The first one was a success. It still is a success... ;-)
And we are looking forward to the next one, which will take place on the March 11, 2006, i.e. the second anniversary of the Madrid bombings. Another good reason to reflect on our relationship in the war on terrorism.
