Laura Ingraham - Mapes and the Vast Conspiracy

Today on the Laura Ingraham show, she was playing excerpts from a discussion on C-SPAN between Mary Mapes and Brent Bozell about the incident that cost Ms. Mapes her job at CBS.

In her book, Mapes maintains she was the victim of a "coordinated" attack. Here's how she describes the methods by which the coordination occurs.

I think with web sites, phone calls,friendships, funding, um, you know, long histories together. These are people who I believe and I, I'm not saying this is un-American, by the way, what they're doing, but it is coordinated, it is absolutely coordinated, and I don't think you have to be a rocket scientist to say it's true. It does exist. It's foolish to say it doesn't.

I must admit, until this point, I thought Mapes was a crackpot trying to whitewash her own carelessness. But this evidence is hard to ignore. Most conservatives I know talk to each other, have friends, and make phone calls. What's new here is Mapes' assertion that there is "nothing like this" on the Left. It explains so much. Liberals aren't angry because Bush won the election, they're angry because they have no friends, no one to talk to, no phones, and no web sites!

So, if you're a conservative, here's your chance to do something to help the Left. Find some liberals and talk to them. Describe to them how talking works. Tell them how to use phones. Explain to them how to set up a web site. Honestly, it doesn't bother me that we have all these advantages, but humans are not cats, and if you end up winning all these elections because the people on the other side are too stupid to use a phone, it's going to feel like cheating, and that's just not the American way.
