Carnivals - New Carnivals

by Ferdinand T Cat

Three new carnivals piled up while Bruce was sleeping.

  • The Vicarious Videos Carnival is looking for videos of a fairly specific sort. The videos submitted must be actual videos. (ie, no photos, gif, or flash animations, no pencil drawings, etc.), must be your own work (or you must have the copyright owners permission), and it should be funny, cool, or both. There are also some pretty specific restrictions on cat or political videos. Submissions are due alternate Fridays. For more information, go here.
  • The Carnival of the Mundane showcases the best posts about daily life. It is dedicated to bloggers who try to draw humor and insight from common experience.. Submissions are due every alt. Wednesday, 5pm ET, and guidelines can be found here.
  • The Carnival of Investing is about investing and planning for the future. Any well-written posts or articles on the topics of investing (broadly defined) will be accepted. This includes stories about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, money markets, options, alternative investments: predictions, strategies, starting out, scam warnings, stories, a little bit of levity, and more. Erudite analysis is preferred over pedantic blather. Submissions are due every Sunday 4pm Eastern, and guidelines can be found here.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

You've inspired me to inaugurate another new carnival, The Carnival of Nothing, a weekly showcase of nothing. Please submit nothing to nothing@gleeson.us to be considered.
