Notes from Ferdy - RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
Don Surber is podcasting his entire blog.
There can only be one reason he's doing this. Despite his tongue-in-cheek nomination of Jon Stewart for Dan Rather's job (click here for the audio), Don is actually putting himself forward as the next CBS news reader. You may laugh, but his matter-of-fact delivery style is a clear homage to 60 Minutes slice-of-life reporter Andy Rooney.
With Surber contributing to both CBS News and Basil's Blog, he would be within grenade-throwing distance of total media domination.
Boy, you take two days off and all hell breaks loose.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

Y'know, I used to do something similar at Multiple Mentality -- I would podcast one or two posts at a time. Not the really short ones (one-liners) or anything; just the longish ones.
It takes a lot of creativity to run a blog, as you, Ferdinand, know well. Once you've done your blogging for the day, you may not have enough left in you to podcast anything original.
