Catblogging - Stairway Design Flaw
Here's something I don't really understand. If I'm sitting on the staircase as shown here, Bruce's daughters get all upset because they have to step over me when going up or down the stairs. If I were to curl up, then there would be enough room for them to use the step, but the first time I tried that, I ended up slipping and falling in a highly undignified manner which I find completely unacceptable.
So here's the thing. If people want to be able to climb the stairs whenever they want, why isn't the staircase designed so that people can get by even when a cat's sleeping on one of the steps?
Sometimes I really have to wonder about your priorities.

We totally understand having a small winding metal staircase ourselves. There is not room for both cats and people and often the right of way is confused much to our annoyance.
