Confused Americans for Truth - Cartoon Riots Spread to Africa

by Ferdinand T Cat

You know, it is really stupid that arson has become the face of Islam.

I don't know if Islam is a religion of peace or a template for aggression, but Islam has done some very important things for the modern world, not the least of which is the invention of algebra. Even more heartbreaking, the double-entry bookkeeping system that has enabled our civilization to produce incredible wealth was brought to Europe by Jews living peacefully in Arab lands.

I pointed out in an earlier article that you have to be anti-American to get good press coverage. Burning embassies is a great way to appear anti-American, but it is untimately counter-productive. If Islam is to recapture its old glory, it must embrace capitalism the way it did when it was at its peak.

So here's my proposal. Instead of being anti-American by burning McDonald's and Pizza Hut, be anti-American by opening an Islamic fast-food franchise. It will still command world attention, but instead of making Muslims poorer, it makes them richer.

Some Muslims may be worried that once they start earning good money they'll stop hating Bush, but we have lots of extremely wealth people in this country who hate Bush, and they get major press coverage even when they're being excessively stupid. So there's really no possibility of a downside here.

When all you have is arson, then Mohammed with a Bomb in his turban is offensive, but if you have franchises in twelve different countries, it's just something stupid by somebody who's jealous of your success.

I know which of those paradigms I'd choose.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
