Blogging Hell - There Are Limits to What I'll Tolerate
Sometimes legitimate commenters mis-type our annoying comment security codes, so every morning Bruce goes through all the junked comments looking for non-spam. Normally, you can tell whether a comment is legitimate or not from the commenter name, which for a spam comment generally has something to do with a typical spam topic, such as pornography, gambling, fake jewelry, medications, and bank loans.
Today, someone tried to defeat the system by disguising their site with the title cat supplies. I am appalled.
So, here's an important warning to all cat bloggers: evil spammers are going to try to advertise on your site by pretending to be cat lovers. DO NOT BE FOOLED. There is no category of spam that is interesting to cats. In particular, it would be safer to stand in front of a charging rhinocerous than to try to trick Gigolokitty with a fake Rolex.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

Ferdy,
You are as smart as you are handsome! Bruce is lucky to have you to look after him.

| HTML is not allowed in comments; however, if you put in a raw URL (http://www.somewhere.com/page.html) it will automatically be converted to a link.. Also, it is likely your comment will not appear unless you refresh the page manually after posting it. |
