Web Site News - Bruce Under the Gun Again

GLBT.gifOnce again, it's crunch time at Bruce's place of employment, and once again the blog is suffering. It's a good thing I understand the importance of him keeping his job.

If you're up for a few laughs and have worked with Content Management Systems, you might want to peek at Bruce's installation diary.

In the meantime, I've been looking at other news sources. I figure that if I publish articles from other places then it doesn't matter whether or not Bruce edits them. I'm especially interested in an outfit called the Greater Liberal Brain Trust. I spend a lot of time promoting conservative ideas, so I think I need to give liberal ideas equal time. The GLBT seems to have the attitude I'm looking for.

I thought their slogan was "Ideas that we know don't work, but we have to do SOMETHING, even if it doesn't work"

I hear that a lot from liberals, especially when they're not the ones having to foot the bill.

I just realized

GLBT is usually an acronym used for an alternative sort of organization. And by alternative, I mean "alternative". Though they are usually aligned with the liberal brain trust.

I don't know if that was deliberate or not.

Yes, that was an accident. Originally, I wanted to call it "Big Liberal Brain Trust", but the acronym sounded vaguely like some sort of sandwich, so I changed "Big" to "Greater". I blame Bruce for not pointing out the mistake: after all, he's a lesbian so he should have known.
