Ferdy at the Movies - Snakes on a Plane

by Ferdinand T Cat

I am generally a very tolerant individual, and though I do have standards for this blog, I am committed to the principle of free expression. I do, however, have limits, and they have been exceeded by this film.

This is a horror thriller, and in the trailer for this film, they show a caged cat being killed by a snake. Now, I can understand killing people in a horror thriller, because killing people in long, complicated scenes that are painful to watch is what horror thrillers are about. But now they're killing cats!

The whole purpose of cats is to protect humanity. If you start showing cats being killed, it's going to scare people on a level so deep that they won't know what's wrong until they wake up one morning in a straitjacket. Not only is this movie unworthy of an R, it's too awful for even an NC-17. I mean, really, people. At least give the poor cat a chance and let it out of the cage.

Call the MPAA Ratings Board and make sure they know that Snakes on a Plane must be stopped before it traumatizes an entire nation!

This is SERIOUS!

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat
