Confused Americans for Truth - The McKinney Apology

by Ferdinand T Cat

From Expose the Left, the text of Cynthia McKinney's formal apology earlier today in the House.

REP. MCKINNEY: Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I come before this body to personally express again my sincere regret about the encounter with the capitol hill police. I appreciate my colleagues who are standing with me, who love this institution, and who love this country. There should not have been any physical contact in this incident. I have always supported law enforcement and will be voting for H.R. 756, expressing my gratitude and appreciation to the professionalism and dedication of the men and women of the U.S. Capitol police. I am sorry that this misunderstanding happened at all and I regret its escalation and I apologize. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

Looking at the text, the phrase that stands up to demand immediate attention is There should not have been any physical contact in this incident. It's possible that McKinney is trying to sound like she's apologizing while still placing the blame upon the police officer, who was after all the first person to make the aforementioned physical contact.

There is an important point here. When a person without the proper credentials is trying to force their way past a security gate, the guard needs a way of stopping a person without touching them. That's why we recommend that the Capitol Police be equipped with the amazing San Ming TITAN-SM6088 Anti-Riot Pistol.

Stun Gun

The TITAN-SM6068 uses a flourocarbon-free CO2 propellant and has an effective range of 30 meters. It can be fitted with rubber bullets for maximum stopping power or pepper spray cartridges for maximum pain. While the target is recovering from the pepper spray, there is ample time to consult photos of authorized personnel. The TITAN weighs less than a pound fully loaded, and its use of an external propellant cartridge with visible buttons and dials can confuse even the most sophisticated opponents. Thanks to the high-capacity cartridge, you can take out an entire Congressional Sub-Committee without reloading. If you're in the security business, then the next time you encounter a belligerent legislator, the TITAN-SM6068 is an absolute must-have. After all, when it comes to members of Congress, the only good touching is no touching at all.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

She also apologized to Congress, instead of the Police, which I thought was odd. What do they have to do with anything.

I would go with the rubber bullets for indoors. The pepper spray would get in the air and bother all the law abiding people as well.

Either that or a big cage can just drop down out of the ceiling.
