EMAIL Hell - Hollywood Intermediate Is Still a Bad Buy
Last week I wrote an article about Hollywood Intermediate, a penny stock that is being touted by an aggressive spam EMAIL campaign. The spam EMAILs claim the stock will reach $4.50 in 7 days. In actual fact, during the past seven days the stock has lost a quarter of its value and is now hovering around $1.00.
The interesting thing is that the EMAIL campaign has been so severe that the authors are now inserting spaces into the name "Hollywood Intermediate" to fool the anti-spam filters. I've never understood this logic. Why try so desperately to reach people who don't want to see your message? It especially makes no sense when you consider that I'm a superior life form and cannot fail to remember that each new notice predicting a rise to $4.50 has a lower starting price!
I swear, it's not the annoyance of the spam that bothers me, it's the implication that somewhere out there in the world there's a person stupid enough to fall for this.
Respectfully submitted,

Yes, not only is the spam killing our stock, it is killing our business, our network is routinely under attack by people who think we are sending out the spam, we have nothing to do with it and in no way sanction or authorize it! A public statement from the company can be found on our contact info page at our web site www.hwdintermediate.com. and if any one knows who is doing the spam campaign please contact us, as we WILL go after them!
