Carnivals - Lots of New Carnivals
The Cavalcade of Risk is dedicated to helping folks understand what risk is, and how to manage it. It's about business and finance, of course, but it's also about risks in our everyday lives and personal relationships. Submissions are due every other Monday, and guidelines can be found here.
The Carnival of Family Life is also new. Everybody likes to talk about their family, especially if you have kids. Here's a place where you can sit down, have a cup of coffee and share your thoughts, stories and experiences. It can be informative, funny or inspiring. It's up to you. Stop by and check it out! Submissions are due every Sunday, midnight (hawaii time), and guidelines can be found here.
The Personal Development Carnival is for original blog articles which cover any area of personal development: health, finances, spirituality, career... anything which provides information on how the reader can create a better life.. Submissions are due every Friday, 11pm PT, and guidelines can be found here.
The Persecution Blog Carnival is sponsored by the Persecution Blog in partnership with The Voice of the Martyrs, and is dedicated to showcasing articles about Christian persecution around the world. Submissions are due every 9 pm ET for a weekly carnival on Fridays, and guidelines can be found here.
The Carnival of Nonprofit Consultants is looking for posts that contain advice, tips, or resources for the nonprofit community No sales pitches! Submissions are due every Fridays, 8 pm ET, and guidelines can be found here.
The Garden Fest is for anything gardening related. Submissions are due every 15th of the month, and guidelines can be found here.
The Carnival of Career Intensity is a little different. According to the organizer, Dave Lorenzo:
Each week I’ll pick five posts I think best demonstrate Career Intensity from the submissions I receive. I am looking for posts that add value to careers of my readers. Preference will be given to posts that are funny and in some way stroke my ego. I am aware that this criterion is totally subjective and unfair. Please don’t e-mail me to complain. Complaints will only serve to make me angry – which will decrease your chances of winning.
The carnival opens on Saturday at 9 AM (Eastern Time) with Post Number Five that week. Post Number Four goes up at 11AM. Post Number Three goes up at 1PM. Post number Two goes up at 3PM. And the big winner for that week goes up at 5PM. I will run each post in its entirety and provide a link to the contributing blog.

The The Carnival of Art is centered around the visual arts. Creating art, writing about art, art news, art philosophy and the art world in general. Submissions should be well written with no spelling mistakes and fall into one of the categories Creating Art, Art History, Art Philosophy, The Biz, or Art News. Submissions are due every Tuesday, and guidelines can be found here.
