Notes from Ferdy - Cleaning Day

It's cleaning day, which is always a mixed blessing. On the one hand, lots of stuff gets stored temporarily in piles on the floor. These make excellent sitting places. On the other hand, the high-powered vacuum used by The Gremlin sounds like a jet airplane trying to eat a 500-pound bag of potato chips. This is an extremely unpleasant if, like me, you have sensitive hearing.
What I don't understand is why no one's tried to make a quiet vacuum. It seems to me that if we have water-filtration vacuums, wet/dry vacuums, and high-tech ball-turning air-filtration vacuums, somebody should be working on a vacuum that's a little more cat-friendly. I mean, where are their priorities?
Respectfully submitted,

So True.
A quiet vaccuum monster would be most appreciated.

Ferdy,
You are always right. The inconsideration of humans is beyond belief!
