Dog Bites Man - Fourth of July Big Shots

by Peg-Eye Nate

The North Koreans attempted to make a bid for the "Biggest Display" award today. Five missles launched, with the "long range" missile dissolving in mid-air after a 35-40 second flight reaching approximately 360 miles. It landed somewhere in the middle of the Japanese sea. It was supposed to fly about 3,960 miles. The act comes despite protests from several world leaders. The important thing in this story is that the Long Range missle only flew a little less than a tenth of its predicted flight distance, which really should come as no surprise when you consider one crucial fact.

The missile was built by communists.
