Notes from Ferdy - Hunger Strike Progress Report

You know, people don't really understand how tough it is to be on a hunger strike. It's easy for the rolling hunger strikers from Hollywood. Susan Sarandon knows that however much today hurts, tomorrow it's gorging time. Even Cindy Sheehan can quietly quit at any time with only minimal damage to her credibility. I, on the other hand, am a superior life form, so I'm stuck with this thing until the Democrats wise up or the terrorists decide to pack up and move to Somalia. When you're used to Sargento's Fancy Shred, a future full of Kraft Fat-Free Singles is extremely depressing.
Anyway, I just thought I should point that out, in case any of you feel like helping by offering me a little sympathy here.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat

No cheese? OMG! My life would end ... just end. You are so brave!

I understand that you've courageously sacrificed yourself for the good of the country by foregoing the cheese. However, something that always perks my cats up is fresh meat. I mean, if Cindy can have coffee with vanilla ice cream during her fast, surely some freshly prepared dead bird - like roasted chicken breast, served to you while you rest your starved and weakened body on a heating pad placed on a comfortable chair, for example - is the *least* Bruce can do to honor your brave sacrifice.
Just sayin'...
