Catblogging - Another Good Deed Gets Me in Trouble
Here you can see another example of me trying to help The Girl Who Feeds Me. In this case, I'm sleeping on top of her bagpiping uniform in order to keep it warm. Unfortunately, it turns out that when you're marching in a parade in 100-degree weather, a warm shirt is actually not a good thing.
Okay, so I suppose I should have known better, but this is Chicago, where the weather is completely unpredictable, and here in the house it's always in the low seventies, so I can't be expected to know what's going on outside.
We wouldn't have this problem if I were allowed to go hunting. Without me on the job, the squirrels and rabbits are in serious danger of suffering from overpopulation. I think an occasional pile of blood and fur on the staircase is a small price to pay for the important ecological service I perform, and locking me inside is a serious over-reaction.
Besides, if they'd let me out once in a while, I'd know when it was appropriate to warm up the Girl's shirts.
