Web Site News - Dark Days for a Conservative Cat
I would like to thank Peg-Eye Nate for helping to keep the blog going while I'm in a writing slump.
Today's big news was the British Petroleum oil pipeline shutdown, and I wrote up an article lampooning the promised Congressional investigation, but I decided to delete it because it wasn't funny.
Bruce bringing home a four-pound bag of hunger-strike-capable Kraft mozzarella cheese isn't helping. Obviously, he expects the Iraq war to drag on for a while.
Most disappointing of all, the Center for Disease Control apparently doesn't think much of my idea for breeding more cats to help prevent avian flu by killing all the birds. It's been over a week and they still haven't called back.
So, while I'm waiting for something to cheer me up, here is a list of fun things going on at the other sites in the Conservative Cat Web Empire.
- Barb Gigamaster has a new web site. She plans to start serializing some of her unpublished novels over the next few months.
- Final Continue has just published the 25th episode of the daily CASSCA comic, and now includes a small article about each of the three main characters. I've grown very fond of CASSCA, and it has nothing to do with the fact that the author has been sneaking me cheese snacks when no one's looking.
- The Naperville Cultural Center is hosting a National Geographic Kids Camp Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. If you live in the Chicago area, it's worth stopping by the Culture Center Calendar each week, as they have classes for people of all ages covering topics from art and language to dancing and yoga.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
