Confused Americans for Truth - An Unseen Story Behind the Story
The Seattle Times has an article about a new Iraqi television comedy. The show, written by an Iraqi poet named Talib al-Sudani, features heavy-duty satire that pokes fun at the general state of things in Iraq.
The Times makes a big deal about how the humor rings true, but, given that they are not superior life forms, they managed to miss the huge, overwhelming, most important facet of this TV show: al-Sudani won't be executed for doing it.
Respectfully submitted,
