Laura Ingraham - Farewell to Doctor Troy
Condolences from all of us here at Conservative Cat on the death of Laura Ingraham's beloved dog Troy.
This sort of thing is difficult for me, and I have been thinking for several days about what I wanted to say. I decided I should talk about the nature of a dog's love. We all know how much Laura loved Troy, but the loss of a pet is not about how much you love the pet, it's about how much the pet loves you. Some people say that dogs are built to love, but that does not diminish the power and privilege that comes from being appreciated by an alien intelligence, one who does not measure you by your profession, your political alignment, or how well you remember certain important dates. The dog loves your soul. It's hard to lose that.
Best wishes to Laura in the days to come. Our hearts are with you.
Respectfully submitted,
Ferdinand T. Cat
