Catblogging - Thinking on Top of the Box

by Ferdinand T Cat

Ferdy on top of the television set
Bruce tells me that when he was growing up, cats liked to sit on top of the television set because it was warm.

It is a vastly different world today. First, without hideously inefficient vacuum tubes lining their insides, modern televisions rarely get above room temperature. Second, thanks to the first principle, the top of the television is a safe home for hand-sewn finger puppets and other things made by small children over the years. This means I have to try to find a safe place to sit on the slanty part, and that's no picnic.

Anyway, here you can see me staring at my reflection. My reflection is extremely attractive, and I suppose I could spend all day staring at it if it weren't for the idiot with the flash camera turning my eyes into flashlights.

I think I'm going to go back to sleeping in the chair.

Respectfully submitted,

Ferdinand T. Cat

Ferdy,

The TV designers are so inconsiderate of a kitty's needs. If weren't were for the fact that Bruce would possibly blow several fuses, I would say pee on it.

In sympathy
